The workshop on the emerging technology of transportation electrification were successfully held in China since 2017. In each year, this conference involved more than 300 participants. The IEEE TEC was the technical co-sponsor in the past 7 conferences.

The 8th IEEE Workshop on Emerging Technology of Transportation Electrification will be held in Beijing, China, sponsored by Beijing Zongheng Electro-mechnical Technology Co. Ltd and Beijing Jiaotong University. The event will be co-sponsored by IEEE (led by the Transportation Electrification Community), and China Power Supply Society. The conference will focus on the new advance and future research works in electrified transportation, including the electric vehicle, electric ships and electric railway system, especially on emerging technologies of electric drive system, power conversion system, power storage system, transportation regional power system.
